Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-05-03

These terms govern your use of Lacudelph (the “Service”), provided by Attius Digital Art (“Lacudelph,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Lacudelph is a platform for designing and running adaptive research interviews. Hosts create “briefs”; participants engage in conversational interviews driven by AI; both sides receive structured artefacts at the end. We use third-party large language model providers (currently Anthropic and, where configured, providers reachable through Vercel AI Gateway) to generate interview content.

2. Account terms

  • You must be 18 or older, or the legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction.
  • You’re responsible for activity under your account, including any organisation members you invite.
  • You must provide accurate, current information and keep it accurate.
  • You may not share account credentials.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service to harm, deceive, or unlawfully surveil any participant.
  • Run interviews on minors without verifiable parental consent.
  • Submit interview content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or scrape the Service’s prompts, models, or generated outputs at scale.
  • Use the Service to generate content that infringes intellectual property, defames a person, or constitutes harassment.
  • Bypass rate limits, invite budgets, or per-tier feature gates.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these rules. Where suspension is precautionary (e.g. suspected unauthorised access), we’ll attempt to contact the account owner before terminating.

4. Your content; our content

You retain ownership of the briefs, interview transcripts, extraction state, and takeaway artefacts your account generates (“Your Content”). You grant Lacudelph a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as required to operate the Service for you and (where applicable) the participants you invite.

We do not use Your Content to train any general-purpose model. We may aggregate de-identified usage statistics (e.g. per-tier session counts) to improve the Service.

Lacudelph retains all rights in the Service itself, including our prompts, model-routing logic, software, brand, and documentation.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Pricing is shown at lacudelph.com/pricing. Payment processing is handled by our payments provider, Paddle (acting as Merchant of Record), which collects applicable taxes and remits them on our behalf.

  • You may cancel any time from /org/billing; cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period (see Refund Policy).
  • If a payment fails, we’ll attempt re-collection via Paddle’s standard dunning. Sustained non-payment results in downgrade to the Free tier.
  • Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice for existing subscribers; the new price takes effect on the next renewal.
  • Per-session and per-organisation usage caps are described on the pricing page and enforced at request time.

6. Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no specific uptime commitment for the Free or Solo tiers. Pro-tier service-level targets, if any, are set out in the Pro plan’s feature list on the pricing page. Scheduled maintenance is announced in advance where practicable. Underlying providers (LLM, hosting, email) may have outages outside our control; we’ll surface known incidents in the dashboard.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lacudelph disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, and you’re responsible for reviewing it before relying on it operationally.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lacudelph’s aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US$100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from your dashboard or contacting us. We may terminate for material breach (with notice where reasonable). On termination we’ll delete Your Content within a reasonable window, except where retention is required by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to the account owner and posted at this URL with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Jerusalem.
